HBO and writer-director-producer Michael Patrick King continue developing author Candace Bushnell’s 2010 "Sex And The City" prequel "The Carrie Diaries", with actress/singer Miley Cyrus the first choice to play 'Carrie Bradshaw', according to Bushnell.
The prequel is about "...breathing new life into the story, while exploring Carrie’s first few months in NYC and the beginning of her relationship with an older man..."
Bushnell's "The Carrie Diaries", published April 2010, focuses on teenage 'Carrie Bradshaw', who attends a Connecticut high school, before embarking on "Looking For Mr. Goodbar" one-night stands in the Big Apple.
