Lady Gaga Is The 2010 Magazine Cover Star

According to sales stats compiled by the magazine "Women's Wear Daily, in 2010, pop singer Lady Gaga, helped to sell nearly 250,000 copies of "Rolling Stone" magazine's 'summer special' issue, featuring a gun-toting Gaga.

Lady Gaga's "Cosmopolitan" cover was also that magazine's best-selling issue of the year.

Gaga's "Vanity Fair" and "Elle" covers also ranked in the top three.

Lady Gaga (aka Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta), is the 24-year old singer/songwriter who first came to prominence following the release of her debut studio album "The Fame" (2008), achieving international popularity with the singles "Just Dance" and "Poker Face".

Her follow-up album "The Fame Monster" (2009), produced the global chart-topping singles "Bad Romance" and "Telephone". Her next album, "Born This Way" will be released in 2011.

"Forbes" magazine places Lady Gaga at number seven on their annual list of the 'World's 100 Most Powerful Women'.
