Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar ("Buffy The Vampire Slayer") will return to broadcast series TV with the CBS dramatic pilot "Ringer", from ABC Studios, CBS TV Studios and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
Written on spec by writer-producers Eric Charmelo & Nicole Snyder ("Supernatural"), "Ringer" follows a 'troubled' young woman (Gellar) who, while on the run from the underworld, hides out by inhabiting the life of her wealthy twin sister, until she learns that her twin also has a bounty on her head. Executive producers of "Ringer" are Peter Traugott, Gellar, Charmelo and Snyder.
