From Sony Pictures TV and Drew Barrymore's Flower Films, the new ABC pilot reboot of the classic 1976 'Jiggle TV' series "Charlie's Angels", created by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts, has now cast their 3 'sexy sleuth' leads :Annie Ilonzeh ("General Hospital");
Minka Kelly ("Friday Night Lights");
Rachael Taylor ("Transformers").
Script is written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar ("Smallville"), who also executive produce along with Nancy Juvonen and original "Charlie's Angels" TV producer Leonard Goldberg. The pilot will be directed by Marcos Siega ("The Vampire Diaries").
The premise of the show will remain the same as the original series, with three women who work as private investigators for a mysterious, unseen man named 'Charlie Townsend' (Robert Wagner), who only communicates with them through a speaker box.
