Maguire Pictures "Country Strong" (aka "Love Don't Let Me Down") is Screen Gems upcoming dramatic feature starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Garrett Hedlund, written and directed by Shana Feste.
"...Rising young singer-songwriter, 'Beau Hutton' (Hedlund), gets involved with fallen country music star 'Kelly Canter' (Paltrow) and the pair embark on a tour to resurrect her career, helmed by her husband/manager, 'Ed' (Tim McGraw), who accompanies them along with beauty queen-turned-singer 'Chiles Stanton' (Leighton Meester). But complications arise from romantic entanglements as old demons threaten to derail them all..."
Lensed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2010, on a reported budget of $15 million, "Country Strong" is slated for a wide release January 7, 2011.
