Actress Elizabeth Banks ("The 40 Year Old Virgin") is in final negotiations to co-star with Chris Pine ("Star Trek") in DreamWorks upcoming drama "Welcome to People", the directorial debut of "Star Trek" and "Transformers" co-writer Alex Kurtzman. Kurtzman co-wrote the "Welcome" screenplay with writing partner Roberto Orci and Jody Lambert. Kurtzman, Orci and Bobby Cohen are producing.Premise follows a businessman who returns home after the sudden death of his wealthy father discovering a family secret that sends him on a journey of self-discovery. Banks will play the 'alcoholic sister' of Pine.
