The newest adaptation stars Logan Lerman as 'D'Artagnan', Matthew Macfadyen as 'Athos', Ray Stevenson as 'Porthos', Luke Evans as 'Aramis', Christoph Waltz as 'Cardinal Richelieu', Orlando Bloom as 'Duke of Buckingham', Milla Jovovich as 'Milady de Winter', Mads Mikkelsen as 'Rochefort', Juno Temple as 'Queen Anne' and Gabriella Wilde as 'Constance'.

The original story by Dumas, first published in serial form in the French magazine "Le Siècle", March–July 1844, is set in the 17th century, recounting the adventures of 'd'Artagnan' after he leaves home to become a guard of the French musketeers.

Summit Entertainment will distribute "The Three Musketeers", April 15, 2011.
