Sneak Peek a new poster and teaser trailer supporting Season 6 of "Weeds", the Lionsgate Television series created by Jenji Kohan, for the Showtime cable television network.
"Weeds" central character 'Nancy Botwin' (Mary-Louise Parker), is a newly widowed suburbanite mother of two who turns to selling marijuana to support her family after her husband unexpectedly dies.
Over the course of the show Nancy finds herself involved in illegal activities on a progressively larger scale; the first three seasons covered local drug dealing and culitivating, while later seasons revolve around the smuggling of contraband from Mexico into the US and the electoral machinations of Baja's gubernatorial politics.
Jennifer Jason Leigh and Alanis Morissette will also be reprising their roles in the new season.
Actress Mary-Louise Parker has won a Golden Globe for her performance on the show, while creator Kohan won a WGA award for her pilot episode screenplay.
The show has since been nominated for 19 Emmy Awards and 10 Golden Globes.
