Sneak Peek the new trailer from director Tim Burton's upcoming live action/CG feature "Alice in Wonderland", an 'extension' to author Lewis Carroll's satiric novels "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking-Glass".
The film uses a technique combining live action and motion capture technology, starring Mia Wasikowska as 'Alice Kingsley', Johnny Depp as 'The Mad Hatter', Helena Bonham "Fght Club" Carter as 'The Red Queen', Anne Hathaway as 'The White Queen' and Crispin "Back To The Future" Glover as 'The Knave of Hearts'.The film is due for release March 5, 2010, to be released in Disney Digital 3-D, IMAX 3-D and in regular theaters.
Disney Interactive Studios will also spin-off a video game based on the film in early 2010 for the Wii, Nintendo DS and Windows PC.In Burton's film, Alice, now 19, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to by a rich suitor in front of hundreds of society types. She runs off, following a white rabbit into a hole, ending up in 'Wonderland', a place she visited years before, yet she doesn't remember.
The 'White Rabbit' claims to have come back for Alice because she is the only one who can defeat the 'Jabberwock', the beast that guards the empire of the 'Red Queen'.
