Paramount Swears By "Damn Nation"

Dark Horse Entertainment have attached writers Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz, the screenwriters for Marvel's upcoming "Thor" movie, to adapt the Dark Horse comic book "Damn Nation" into a feature for Paramount.

The original comic book series is by writer Andrew Cosby and illustrator Jason Shawn Alexander.

Producers are Michael Aguilar and Dean Georgiras, with Cosby and his Boom! Studios partner Ross Ritchie as executive producers.

Premise of "Damn Nation", the 3-issue horror comic mini-series published in 2005, starts with the US evacuated after attacks from nocturnal carnivores, following survivors who have been re-located to London by the government.

The comic was published over three issues and collected in a trade paperback...
