Actress Anna "Pushing Daisies" Friel has 'stunned' theatre-goers during preview performances @ the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London, UK's West End, starring in the stage version of "Breakfast At Tiffany's".

Friel reportedly reclines nude on a couch during a scene, for her role as lead character 'Holly Golightly'.

Friel said she would push 'the boundaries' in her stage performance as Holly, made famous by film actress Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 feature "Breakfast At Tiffany's", based on the novel by author Truman Capote.

Premise of "Breakfast At Tiffany's" follows Holly, who lives in a brownstone on Manhattan's swanky East Side, receiving $50 from gentlemen escorts and $100 for each weekly trip she makes to Sing Sing Prison to visit an ex-gangster.

One day 'Paul Varjak', a young writer, supported by an older woman nicknamed '2E' enters Holly's life, unexpectedly meeting 'Doc Golightly', a Texan that Holly married when she was 15 years old.

When Holly explains that her marriage was annulled, Paul proposes, but Holly turns him down, determined to marry 'José', a South American millionaire, who eventually dumps her when he discovers she has been (innocently) delivering crime info from 'Sally Tomato' to his New York associates.

"Holly's a heroine for a lot of females," said Friel, "because she doesn't follow the rules."
