The upcoming MGM remake of director Tobe Hooper's Steven Spielberg-produced feature "Poltergeist", will be released November 24, 2010.The original ghost story movie earned over $76 million during its theatrical run in 1982.
"Boogyman" writers Juliet Snowden and Stiles White will develop the new screenplay for director Vadim "House Of Sand And Fog" Perelman.
The original "Poltergeist" focuses on a family home in a new sub-division, built on top of a cemetary, that is haunted by restless spirits.
