"Accidentally on Purpose" is a new CBS TV sitcom starring actress Jenna Elfman, based on the book by author Mary Pols.
Premise follows 'Billie', a San Francisco-based movie critic who gets pregnant after an affair with a man named 'Zack'. Complicating matters, Billie decides to keep both her baby and her new beau, just as she breaks up with her boss 'James', who wants to resume their relationship.
Thanks to the unexpected arrival, Billie and Zack agree to live together platonically.
"...While Billie receives encouragement and advice from her party girl best friend 'Olivia' and her conventional younger married sister 'Abby', she also has to deal with Zack's freeloading friend 'Davis', who turns her home into a frat house, leaving Billie to question whether she's living with a boyfriend, a roommate, or if she just has a second child to raise..."
