"Tron: Legacy" is the upcoming Vancouver-lensed sequel to the 1982 computer-fantasy feature "Tron".The new film is directed by Joseph Kosinski, with Steven Lisberger as producer.
Actor Jeff "Starman" Bridges reprises his role as 'Kevin Flynn', with Garrett Hedlund as his adult son 'Sam'. Other cast members include Bruce Boxleitner, Olivia Wilde, Beau Garrett and John "Alien" Hurt.
The film will be presented in Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3D.
Premise of "Tron: Legacy" focuses on Flynn, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, who investigates his father’s disappearance and is also pulled into the same computer-world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years.
