HBO has optioned "Middlesex" as a one-hour TV drama adapting the 2002 novel by author Jeffrey Eugenides.
Actor-producer Rita Wilson will executive produce with project writer Donald Margulies, following the life of 'Calliope Stephanides' and her family history that may give a clue as to her 'complicated' sexual identity.
