Universal will release 6 classic features produced before the 1934 introduction of the restrictive movie 'Production Code'.
Titles include "The Cheat," starring Tallulah Bankhead as a woman willing to do what she has to do to pay off a gambling debt.
"Merrily We Go to Hell," stars Fredric March as an abusive alcoholic.
"Hot Saturday" stars Cary Grant and Nancy Carroll.
Noted as Cary Grant's first movie as a leading man, the film was directed by William A. Seiter, based on a novel by author Harvey Fergusson, following 'Ruth Brock' (Nancy Carroll), who has an argument with her lover 'Bill Fadden' (Randolph Scott), then spends the night with rich small town playboy 'Romer Sheffield' (Cary Grant).
"Search for Beauty", stars Ida Lupino and Buster Crabbe, who are duped into endorsing a sexy magazine and a whole lot more.
"Murder at the Vanities" stars "the most beautiful girls in the world' and showcases the musical number "Sweet Marijuana"...
