Actor Mickey "The Wrestler" Rourke is in talks to play villain 'Crimson Dynamo' in "Iron Man 2," the Marvel Entertainment sequel that director Jon Favreau begins shooting this spring.

The original Crimson Dynamo first appeared in Marvel's "Tales of Suspense" #46.

'Professor Anton Vanko' was a PhD Soviet scientist who built a suit that was wired up to perform electrical tasks, making him a human dynamo.

The Crimson Dynamo battle-suit provided the wearer with superhuman strength and durability, with an outer layer composed of a 'carborundum' matrix alloy, equipped with hand-blasters for firing high-frequency electrical bolts, small missiles contained in the back shoulder area and 'boot jets' that allowed flight.

"Iron Man" grossed over $600 million worldwide.

Paramount Pictures will distribute "Iron Man 2", summer 2010...
