Actress Teresa "Bedtime Stories" Palmer will play Jay "Tropic Thunder" Baruchel's love interest in Disney's upcoming live-action "The Sorcerer's Apprentice", starring Nicolas Cage.
Premise of the new feature, focuses on an apprentice (Baruchel) who is left to tend to a magic workshop when his sorcerer master (Cage) leaves duties in his care. Although the apprentice gets an enchanted broomstick to do his work for him, things get out of control when the broom develops a mind of its own. 
Jon "National Treasure" Turteltaub will direct the feature for producer Jerry Bruckheimer...
