The 30th anniversary of director Walter Hill's "The Warriors", based on author Sol Yurick's novel will usher in the Dabel Brothers 2009 comic book adaptation:
"...'The Warriors' street gang are framed for the shooting of 'Cyrus', a charismatic leader trying to unite all the city gangs at a huge outdoor meeting in the Bronx, before being gunned down.
"With a price on their head and every New York gang out to get them, egged on by a female DJ broadcasting their whereabouts over the air, the Warriors must get back 27 miles across the city to their home turf of Coney Island, alive..."
