Sneak Peek's Michael Stevens reporting from Toronto...

Canadian film actors John Paul Tremblay ('Julian'), Mike Smith ('Bubbles') and Rob Wells ('Ricky') were in Toronto today to promote the final episode of the 7-season run of the Halifax lensed, Canadian 'mockumentary' TV series Trailer Park Boys.

The one hour special "Say Goodnight To The Bad Guys" airs on Showcase Television December 7.

Premise will pick up one year after the last season left off, with the boys poised to enjoy the riches from a stoned-out caper, but ambushed as they try to retrieve it.

The trio recently completed shooting a second feature, tentatively titled "Trailer Park Boys - Countdown to Liquor Day" last August and will star in a cross-Canada live show, this January/February 2009.

"The Ricky, Julian and Bubbles Community Service Variety Show" will feature the boys "fulfilling a court ordered community service to demonstrate the dangers of using alcohol and drugs..."

That live show will pave the way for the theatrical release, Fall 2009.

Smith said that he and the boys are currently developing a new concept for another comedy TV series.

"We're each going to play several different characters, so it's pretty broad and hopefully fresh...", he said, planning to shoot a demo early next year in Halifax, aiming for a 2010 broadcast date...
