"Trailer Park Boys", the Nova Scotia-lensed "Freak Brothers"-inspired pot/booze comedy TV series, will officially wind up its 7 season run in December.

The hilarious antics of Canada's own "3 Stooges", 'Ricky', 'Bubbles' and 'Julian', featuring a pseudo-documentary camera crew recording the misadventures of the good-natured trio in and out of jail, will wrap production with a special, one-hour finale Dec. 7.

Series creator Mike Clattenburg says he's grateful to the dedicated fans who have made the Showcase original series a Canadian television success and that the second "Trailer Park Boys" feature, that started shooting in August is tentatively titled, "Trailer Park Boys - Countdown To Liquor Day", scheduled for a wide theatrical release in the fall of 2009.

Since it first hit the air in 2001, the series has grown into a ratings success and pop culture phenomenon, spawning an Ivan Reitman-produced feature in 2006, as well as featuring a string of cameos from famous fans including Alex Lifeson from Canadian rock band "Rush", singer Rita MacNeil, Sebastian Bach from "Skid Row" and actress Ellen Page, who played the daughter of the drunken trailer park supervisor.

A "Trailer Park Boys" marathon will precede the finale, featuring the best nine episodes as chosen by the cast, Clattenburg and executive producer Barrie Dunn, who also plays Ricky's drunken father on the show...
