Ridley Scott Sees A "Brave New World"...

One of director Ridley "Blade Runner" Scott's many simmering film projects is a feature version of "Brave New World", based on the novel by author Aldous Huxley.

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio's production company reportedly approached Scott with the property.

Written in 1932, "Brave New World" focused on a future in which everyone is complacent on a prescription drug called 'soma'.
