Hemingway To Pilot Lucas' "Red Tails"...

Director Anthony "CSI: New York" Hemingway will helm George Lucas' developing "Red Tails" feature film project.

The WW II actioner was scripted by John Ridley for Lucasfilm, with shooting scheduled for Prague, Italy, Croatia and England.

'Red Tails' was the name of the first group of black airmen to serve as pilot escorts for American bombers, over Italy and Germany in 1945.

Under President Franklin Roosevelt, the US soldiers were sent to Tuskegee, Alabama to train helping to desegregate the Army's flying crew.

Executive producer Lucas has been developing the project since 1989...
