Director Gil Kenan and producer Robert Zemeckis, are partnering for a big-screen version of "Airman," a children's adventure book by author Eoin Colfer.
The adaptation will be done using performance-capture technology.
Zemeckis will produce with his ImageMovers partners Jack Rapke and Steve Starkey.
Premise of the 'swashbuckling scientific' story follows 'Conor Broekhart', born in a hot air balloon to a family close to a king. After the death of the king, Broekhart spends two years in prison, escapes and must decide whether to turn his back on those who abandoned him or fight those who plot to overthrow the government...
