Fox has announced that production will start Dec. 10 in Vancouver on the "X-Files" movie sequel, starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, directed by series creator Chris Carter, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Frank Spotnitz.
Release date is set for July 25, 2008.
The new film will further explore the relationship between FBI agents 'Fox Mulder' and 'Dana Scully', with Mulder continuing his search for 'the truth'.
Fox's "X-Files" TV series, began filming in Vancouver in 1993 before a move to California, where it ended after nine seasons in 2002.
