Spyglass has purchased remake rights to writer/director David Cronenberg's, 1979 Toronto-shot horror feature "The Brood". A new screenplay will be written by Cory Goodman.
Cronenberg's original film starred Oliver Reed and Samantha Eggar with Toronto actors Henry Beckman, Nuala Fitzgerald, Susan Hogan, Michael Magee, Larry Solway and Reiner Schwartz.
Premise of the film follows a man's wife under the care of an eccentric psychiatrist who uses 'innovative' techniques to breach psychological blocks in his patients...
