Screenwriter Stuart "Collateral" Beattie continues developing his script for New Line's film adaptation of the Microsoft/Epic video game "Gears of War", with Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey producing through their Temple Hill Productions.Premise of the "Gears" movie, set on the planet 'Sera' will focus on the 'Locust' aliens and a group of elite soldiers led by 'Marcus Fennix'.
"It's an epic sci-fi war and an enormous film," said Beattie.
"Gears of War" the motion picture is targeted for a 2009 release.
