It's Hammer Time "Beyond The Rave"...

Hammer Films, the UK film studio which has not released a movie since 1979, is currently shooting episodes in London of the on-line horror series "Beyond the Rave", produced by Pure Grass Films, from an original story by Tom Grass.

"Hammer is a great British brand. We intend to take it back into production and develop its global potential", said Hammer's Simon Oakes.

"With 'Beyond the Rave', the company wishes to give long-time followers and new audiences an early taste of things to come...original productions using new technologies, featuring the hottest up-and-coming talent."

The vampire premise of "Beyond The Rave", set in England’s underground party scene, follows the last hours of soldier 'Ed', before a deployment to Iraq. With the help of best friend 'Necro', Ed spends his last night in the UK tracking down missing girlfriend 'Jen', last seen partying with a group of hardcore ravers led by 'Melech'...

Directed by Matthias Hoene, with an appearance by actress Sadie Frost, SFX for "Beyond The Rave" is by Tristan Versluis...
