Millennium Films has acquired rights to make a new series of features based on author Robert E. Howard's "Conan the Barbarian".
Paradox Entertainment prexy-CEO Fredrik Malmberg will produce with Millennium's Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson, Joe Gatta and George Furla.
The first new "Conan" film will start spring 2008.
The property is a globally established brand that has 40 licenses including Dark Horse comic books, an upcoming game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and the Funcom/Eidos multiplayer online role-playing game "Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures."
