"The Anderson Tapes" Back Under Surveillance

Producer Arthur "Rush Hour 3" Sarkissian has optioned author Lawrence Sanders novel "The Anderson Tapes" for a feature film.

The book was previously adapted by director Sidney "Serpico" Lumet into a 1971 film starring actor Sean Connery.

Sarkissian will self-finance development of the re-make.

The original film starred Connery as an ex-con in New York who doesn't know he's under surveillance as he tries to rip off a high-rise apartment building.

Sarkissian said the new version will be set in Miami.
