Dark Horse Resurrecting "Creepy" and "Eerie"

Comic book publisher Dark Horse has announced it will bring back the classic Warren properties "Creepy" and "Eerie" for new comic books, film/TV development and merchandising rights.

The original 1960's, black and white, magazine-sized, non Comic Code horror comics, hosted by 'Uncle Creepy' and 'Cousin Eerie', featuring artists like Frank Frazetta, were an homage to the format of the EC horror comics of the 1950's, specifically "Tales From The Crypt".

Dark Horse Entertainment, film banner of the Oregon publisher, has produced both "The Mask" and "Hellboy".

Comic artist great Bernie Wrightson will be involved in the new editions of the titles.
