Lucas Lays An Egg For "Robot Chicken"

George Lucas has agreed to team up with satirist Seth Green on a "Robot Chicken: Star Wars" special, to air in the US on the Cartoon Network and Teletoon in Canada.

Created by Green and Matthew Senreich, "Robot Chicken" employs movie/TV parodies using toys in comedic stop-motion animation skits.

Green will direct the 30-minute special, which was made in collaboration with Lucasfilm.

George Lucas will appear in the special, voicing himself.

In addition, Mark Hamill will voice 'Luke Skywalker', alongside various guest performers including Conan O'Brien and Malcolm McDowell.

"Robot Chicken: Star Wars" premieres Sunday, June 17th at 10:00 pm ET/PT, on the Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim".
