Dickerson Sinks Teeth Into "The Un-Dead"

Director Ernest "Juice" Dickerson will helm the official sequel to Dracula, titled "The Un-Dead".

Jan "Speed" De Bont will produce through his Blue Tulip Prods.

"The Un-Dead" is reportedly the title of author Bram Stoker's original novel.

The screenplay by Ian Holt is set 25 years after the book’s events, including all the surviving characters, 'Jonathan' and 'Mina Harker', 'Professor Van Helsing' and 'Inspector Cotford'.

The Stoker estate has officially recognized Holt’s screenplay, the first adaptation to receive such approval since the original 1931 Bela Lugosi-starring film.
