According to the "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening, 16 new episodes of his sci fi animated TV series "Futurama" will be produced into four direct-to-DVD movies.The first film, "Futurama: Bender's Big Score" will be released December 2007.
Each DVD will run approximately ninety minutes, then be 'reconfigured' for broadcast in 2008 as 16 episodes on Comedy Central, starring the original voice cast of Katey Sagal, Billy West, John Di Maggio and Maurice LaMarche.
