According to reports, Sony will adapt the video game franchise "Metal Gear Solid" as a feature film.Game creator Hideo Kojima will executive produce.
Sony chair Yair Landau confirmed the film was in the works following a keynote speech, February 8 at the DICE video game confab in Las Vegas. 
"Metal Gear Solid" has sold more than 20 million units since 1998.The 'stealth' action title has four sequels, with a new game set for release later this year.
