Whistler Film Festival Gets Into Full Swing

Besides movies, parties, industry networking, snowboarders and skiers, the 6th annual Whistler Film Festival is creating a great buzz with a variety of hotels and clubs in the Whistler, British Columbia area.

HollywoodNorthReport and Sneak Peek are handling media duties out of two great Whistler headquarters this year, the Sundial Boutique and ResortQuest Whistler 'Valhalla'.

The Sundial Boutique Hotel is located in the heart of Whistler Village, noted as the only luxury boutique accommodation owner-operated in Whistler.

With generously appointed suites, the Sundial offers gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, living areas with gas fireplaces, heated slate flooring, AVEDA bath products and luxury bedding.

Adjacent to Whistler's Marketplace, Village ski lifts and the Telus Conference Centre, the ResortQuest Whistler 'Valhalla' townhomes are set in a secluded, cul-de-sac landscape, with an outdoor hot tub in the middle of the courtyard. Inside the suites are gas fireplaces, private decks and multi-level, open living plan.

The 6th annual Whistler Film Festival runs November 30 to December 3, 2006 featuring four days of films, industry sessions and networking opportunities on and off the slopes at North America's number one ski resort.

The festival is presented by American Express and is sponsored by Bell Canada, Directors Guild of Canada - BC District Council, CBC Newsworld, Global Television, Harmony Airways and Movie Gallery, with support from Telefilm Canada.
