Davie "The Wild Angels" Allan On Movie Soundtracks

Davie Allan with his band the 'Arrows' scored over two dozen films during the late 1960's, with a trademark 'fuzz' guitar sound that defined the world of Peter Fonda's pre-"Easy Rider", Roger Corman actioner "The Wild Angels".

Allan also composed soundtracks for producer Maurice Smith's "The Glory Stompers", starring Dennis Hopper and "The Born Losers", the first title in the "Billy Jack" series.

Allan continues to score soundtracks, notably Jim Jarmusch's "Night on Earth".

His top 10 favorite movie soundtracks are:

1. King Creole
2. Hatari!
3. Singin' in the Rain
4. Star Trek: The Motion Picture
5. Goldfinger
6. A Hard Day's Night
7. Psycho
8. Raiders of the Lost Ark
9. Baby Face Nelson
10. Robin and the Seven Hoods
