"Stargate SG-1" Swallowed Up By Black Hole ...

The Sci Fi Channel has announced that the Vancouver-lensed TV series "Stargate SG-1" will be cancelled after the conclusion of its 10th season in 2007.

However, the spin-off "Stargate Atlantis" will be renewed for a fourth season.

Featuring actor, executive producer Richard Dean Anderson as 'Major General Jack O'Neill', "Stargate SG-1" recently aired its 200th episode.

Besides the "Stargate SG-1" spin-off, Sci Fi is committed to 22 episodes of comic book to film adaptation "Painkiller Jane", that Kirk Shaw's Vancouver-based Insight Films plans to begin shooting in the fall.
