OMDC Presents: Al Waxman Calling Card Program

The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) presented eight new dramatic films Sunday June 25, 2006 at The Regent Theatre 555 Mount Pleasant Road, in Toronto.

The first screenings began at 3:30 pm - 5:15 pm featuring the films:

"Lake" (Srdjan Vilotijevic, producer/ Ryan Redford, director)

"By Charlie Walker" (Priya Rao, producer/ Rebecca Sernasie, director)

"My Uncle Navy and Other Inherited Disorders" (Deborah MacDonald, producer/Adam Swica, director)

"Keys to Coffin", (Hoda Elatawi, producer/Keith Davidson, director)

There was a 'Filmmakers Reception' at the Granite Brewery 245 Eglinton Ave. East - 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm.

The 2nd Screening - 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm showcased the films:

"Dry Whiskey", (Philip Svoboda, producer/ Robert Budreau, director)

"Snapshots for Henry" (Charlotte Disher,producer/ Teresa Hannigan, director)

"Short Tongue Freddy" (Craig Cornell, producer/Kevin Schjerning, director)

"Santa Baby" (Robert Richardson, producer/David Widdicombe, director)

Program sponsors included Showcase, Kodak Motion Picture Film, Deluxe Laboratories, The Lab, Theatre D Digital, PS, CFTPA, @Wallace Studios, Eyes Post Group and Casablanca Post Production For Film and Television.
