"A Scanner Darkly" Trailer Contest

RES, Microsoft, Warner Brothers, and Jumpcut are co-sponsoring a contest to remix the trailer of director Richard Linklater's " rotoscoping "A Scanner Darkly", coming to theatres July 7.

The remix site here asks entrants to create their vision running one/three minutes, using downloadable footage and new footage created for the contest.

Prizes include a trip to the US premiere (including airfare and hotel) and a Microsoft Windows 64-bit powered video editing workstation with Adobe Production Studio 'Premium'.

There are also runner-up prizes and an audience award for the best trailer chosen by viewsers.

All entries must be post-marked no later than June 7.
