Devlin Haunted by "Ghosting"

Producer Dean "Independence Day" Devlin will direct his first feature, the paranormal thriller Ghosting, January 2007, after principal photography is complete on the sci-fi adventure Isobar.

Devlin will also produce Ghosting for his Electric Entertainment company with partners Kearie Peak and Marc Roskin.

The novel premise of the Ghosting screenplay, written by Jessie Alexander, focuses on a disabled police officer who works with a group of undercover investigators who temporarily paralyze hearts to move back and forth between the land of the living and the dead (?!).

Budget is reportedly in the $60 million range.

Voltage Pictures, the sales company Devlin runs with Nicolas Chartier, is selling foreign rights on the project.
