According to reports, director Nick Cassavetes is back developing Marvel's "Iron Man" movie.

"...more mechanical than high-tech — that's the way to go on that", Cassavetes said about the look of his Iron Man, referring to his vision of the costume as a "flying tin can".

Marvel Studios, a division of Marvel Enterprises, are in active development on "IRON MAN".

Produced by Marvel Studios' CEO Avi Arad and Angry Films' Don Murphy, "IRON MAN" is based on a script by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar and David Hayter.

"IRON MAN" focuses on 'Tony Stark', heir to 'Stark Enterprises' a weapons manufacturer, who commands a corporate empire by day and becomes "Iron Man" at night, the embodiment of decades of hi-tec defense spending.

Strapping on billions of dollars worth of state-of-the-art armor and weaponry to fight crime and corporate espionage, Tony succumbs to alcoholism, cracking under the strain.
