“The Samurai and The Prisoner”is the new Japan-produced historical drama mystery feature, written and directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa based on the novel by Honobu Yonezawa, starring Masahiro Motoki, Masaki Suda, Yuriko Yoshitaka, Munetaka Aoki, and Ryota Miyadate, now playing in theaters:
“…during the ‘Azuchi’ era, ‘Araki Murashige’, a samurai who served ‘Oda Nobunaga’, eventually rebelled against his lord and barricaded himself within ‘Arioka Castle’.

“…and he begins to help Murashige to solve the crime.”
