“Superman” #1 Sells For $9.12 Million

A 10 cent copy of “Superman” #1 (1939), written by Jerome Siegel and illustrated by Joe Shuster, graded  9.0 out of 10 by the ‘Certified Guaranty Company’ (CGC), has sold for $9.12 million (usd) at a sale run by Heritage Auctions:
