Film actor character James Earl Jones, who played author Robert E. Howard’s ‘Thulsa Doom’, an evil servant of the serpent-god ‘Set’ in director John Milius’ 1982 ‘sword ‘n sorcery’ feature “Conan The Barbarian’ has died:
“…Jones’ version of Howard’s cannibal killer 'Thulsa Doom’ is essentially the classic ‘Conan’ villain ‘Thoth-Amon’, servant of the serpent-god ‘Set’.
“He appears as an ordinary human in the film, having lived over a thousand years, with the power, when aroused, to transform into a giant reptilian snake…”
