"The Super Mario Bros. Movie” Music Video

The deliberately obnoxious song "Peaches", dedicated to the character 'Princess Peach'  from the hit animated feature "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" is somehow now eligible for Oscar consideration in the 'Best Original Song' category:

"...Jack Black performs the ballad, he co-wrote with Aaron Horvath, Michael Jelenic, Eric Osmond and John Spiker. 

"Black is also part of the live-action “Peaches” music video that Lyrical Lemonade released, dressed up as 'Bowser', aka 'King Koopa', in addition to singing and playing piano..."
