"A Man Called Otto" is the new comedy-drama feature, directed by Marc Forster, as the second film adaptation of the novel "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman, starring Tom Hanks and Mariana Treviño, opening in a limited theatrical release December 25, 2022, followed by a wide opening January 13, 2023:
"...when his wife dies and he is forced to retire from his job of nearly 40 years, Otto (Hanks) decides to end it all, but his attempts are constantly interrupted by his boisterous new neighbors, which leads to an unlikely friendship..."
