The sorcerer "Doctor Fate", debuting in "More Fun Comics" (1940) will make his cinematic debut in the live-action feature "Black Adam", October 21, 2022, portrayed by Pierce Brosnan for the 'DC Extended Universe':
"...'Kent Nelson' discovered the tomb of the wizard 'Nabu'...
"...then trained by him in the ways of sorcery in order to fight crime and the forces of evil.
"As 'Doctor Fate', Kent was also a founding member of the 'Justice Society of America'..."
