Bond, who is not yet licensed to kill, must challenge terrorist financier 'Le Chiffre' (Mads Mikkelsen) through a game of poker in Montenegro. 


ACTION: "Ocean’s Eleven" (2001)


Another classic is the box office hit "Ocean’s Eleven" (2001), with an ensemble cast including George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon in leading roles. The plot follows a group of friends who go on a mission to rob the largest casinos in Las Vegas. The movie simultaneously follows intrigues of love and friendship and is ranked as one of the highest grossing films of 2001.


DRAMA: "Rain Man" (1988) 


"Rain Man" (1988) ranks among one of Tom Cruise’s early classic films. Here, he is portrayed as 'Charlie Babbitt', a man who finds out his estranged father has died and left his multi-million inheritance to 'Raymond', the autistic savant brother Charlie didn’t know he had. In an attempt to win custody over his brother to obtain part of the inheritance, Charlie abducts his brother who he learns is great at math. Together, they drive to Las Vegas in order to use Raymond’s skills to pay back Charlie’s debt. 


ROMANCE: "What Happens In Vegas" (2008)


Follow a chaotic 'Vegas' marriage in "What Happens in Vegas" (2008). This rom-com stars Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, who after an unplanned Vegas wedding and a $3 billion jackpot are faced with the issue of marriage rights. Forced to attend marriage counselling for at least 6 months in order to split the money, the two embark on a strange relationship. 


THRILLER: "The Card Counter" (2021)


"The Card Counter" (2021) follows 'William "Tell" Tillich', a former military man who was present and served time for his involvement in 'Abu Ghraib' prison torture. After his sentence, William travels to various low-stakes casinos where he frequently wins due to his card counting skills he learnt in prison. While on the road he runs into 'Cirk Beaufort', the son of a former Abu Ghraib colleague, who is out for revenge on his father’s commander. The film powerfully portrays revenge, guilt, and moral dilemmas.
