The Swedish corporation Embracer Group AB has completed its acquisition of Dark Horse Media, including Dark Horse Comics, with a Netflix first-look deal and over 300 intellectual properties including "The Mask", "Hellboy", “The Umbrella Academy” and a whole lot more:
Embracer announced plans to acquire Dark Horse December 2021. With the sale now complete, Dark Horse will be Embracer’s tenth standalone division. The existing Dark Horse management team, including founder and CEO Mike Richardson, will remain in place.
